Project Room G3 is proud to announce Sensate Rainbow, a two person exhibition by Michelle Andrade and John Weston. Sensate Rainbow is an immersive multimedia installation that heightens the awareness of one‘s surroundings by invoking the senses of sight, sound, smell and taste. It is an experiential world inhabited by glowing canvases, pulsing video, experimental music, and black lights.

Sensate Rainbow is a hallucinatory onslaught on the senses. The fluorescent paintings are optically charged and literally glow under glare of the black lights. An optical pattern is painted directly onto one of the walls, heightening one’s sense of site as well as the sense of sight. A video pulses and undulates with the intensity of a fever dream, giving the perception of spastic movement within a candy colored rainbow. The sound piece invokes the aural sense with psychedelic intensity, slipping from sonic abstraction to lush melody.

Artists Michelle Andrade and John Weston both live and work in LA. They are founding members of STATION collective and have exhibited their work individually and in collaboration throughout the Los Angeles area.
